FIR filed suit against T-series owner Bhushan Kumar for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman

New Delhi: An FIR has been filed against T-series owner Bhushan Kumar for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman. She lodged the complaint at the D N Nagar police station in Mumbai where she alleged that the filmmaker, under the pretext of involving her in one of his next projects, had raped her.

Confirming the news, the senior Mumbai police officer spoke to News18 and said: “A rape case under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). We are still investigating the matter. “

Mumbai Police are investigating the case and will now record Bhushan Kumar’s statement after questioning him about the rape allegations. So far, no arrests have been made.

Meanwhile, for the uninitiated, Bhushan Kumar is a big name in the film industry. He is not only the CEO of the music company T-Series, but he is also a filmmaker who has produced many hits like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Ready, Aashiqui 2, and more.

Bhushan took over the business from his father Gulshan Kumar after the latter was assassinated in 1997.

Speaking of her personal life, Bhushan Kumar is married to former model and actress Divya Khosla Kumar who is also a director. The couple has a son named Ruhaan.
