Even in India, the Google Pixel 7 series has debuted this year. However, interest is already shifting to the upcoming Pixel series phone. Although the Pixel 7a is not likely to go on sale before the end of the year, the keynote presentation for Google I/O 2023 may very well feature it.
In light of this, certain purported Google Pixel 7a features have leaked online, and it appears Google is planning to update the hardware and features of the supposedly inexpensive Pixel. The Pixel 6a this year came very close to matching the look and feel of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the company’s flagship models.
Google may also up the stakes in 2023. According to the source, the Pixel 7a will receive wireless charging as well as significant camera improvements.
The Pixel 7a will reportedly be powered by Google’s latest Tensor G2 technology, but the update is also expected to bring a brand-new ceramic body, a first for the Pixel a family.
With the potential addition of a telephoto lens, Google may offer the Pixel 7a with more than two cameras for the first time outside of the Pixel Pro versions. Regarding wireless charging, the Pixel 7a is rumoured to only support 5W charging speed and include this as a novelty feature.
