Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan has been away from the film screen for the past several years. At the same time, now he is going to step on the big screen again after 12 years. Last year, Fardeen’s comeback in a film with Riteish Deshmukh was announced. Earlier where the film was set to release in theatres, now it is reported that it will come directly on OTT. The film is being produced by Sanjay Gupta and Bhushan Kumar.

According to media reports, Fardeen Khan is going to make his Bollywood debut again with Kookie Gulati’s film Explode. Produced by Sanjay Gupta, the film was announced to hit the theaters in September last year. But recently Sanjay Gupta told that Fardeen Khan’s comeback film will stream directly on OTT and not in theatres. In an interview, Sanjay Gupta told that due to box office circumstances, it has been decided to release the film directly on OTT in 2023.

Eruption is an official remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors. If reports are to be believed, Riteish Deshmukh is playing the role of a pilot and Fardeen Khan is playing the role of a kidnapper in the film, who kidnap Riteish’s son. At the same time, in an interview, Fardeen Khan had told that he is playing the role of a boy from Dongri. The film has been shot in South Mumbai area. Apart from Fardeen and Riteish, the film also stars Priya Bapat, Krystle D’Souza, Seema Bapat and Sheeba Chadha.
