Family Man: What made Manoj Bajpayee show he won, by 5 points

Before watching The Family Man Season 2, here is a reminder of all that worked for the first season of the show starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Neeraj Madhav, and Shabarib Hashmi.

Family Time 2 begins airing on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video. The makers of The Family Man are all set to drop a second season of the show after a long wait of nearly two years.

The lead actor Manoj Bajpayee became a fast-paced celebrity and soon-to-be-released in 2019 and continues to be one of the most popular shows on India’s OTT space. The story of Srikant Tiwari, played by Bajpayee, began when he was trying to find the right balance of work-life but ended up being a piece of high stakes that ended in a big cat.

For the second season released on June 4, here we are reviewing the first season to determine everything that has worked for the Family Man.

1. Manoj Bajpaye

There is no debate about whether Manoj Bajpayee is an outstanding actor but due to the wide acceptance of OTT platforms, the Aligarh actor has hit the lead with The Family Man, as much as he did in his early days with Satya. While appearing in such prestigious films as Pinjar, Gali Guleiyan, and Gangs of Wasseypur, the so-called commercial cinema has graced his talent for films such as Satyameva Jayate and Baaghi 2 among others.

2. Pan Indian cast

While the practice of producing pan-Indian movies is very high, we are not accustomed to seeing many films or shows where on-screen talents from different parts of the world come together, while representing their language and culture. The Family Man was jumping before the turn when he threw Priyamani, Neeraj Madhav, Sundeep Kishan, and Kishore from various regional industries and surprised the audience with the music. The show aims to raise the bar this season as they place an important role in Samantha Akkineni.

3. Well-balanced sites

Another major concern with the exhibition promising a high-level crime drama is the construction of necessary but inclusive sites and in that department, the Family Man was very successful. The first few episodes made the audience aware that for Sikant Tiwari, arresting terrorists was as important as solving the problems of his school children. Even the sub-plot about Suchitra and Arvind’s relationship of their own will not be very successful.

4. Twisting

One of the great evils of watching a number of crime dramas is that it is hard to be shocked by a vicious plot. And while we’ve all seen our share of shows, Family Man has been drawing a line under our feet every few episodes. Moosa deceived the nurse and skipped the detention, hospital shooting, and ongoing conflict in the last ten minutes of the series gave us the right amount of deviation and never would have happened, they would have felt like they were just there because of this. Therefore, writers Raj & DK and Suman Kumar are to be applauded.

5. Encouragement from real stories

Family Man is not entirely based on a single true story but, in fact, is inspired by the many stories that take place around us. This guessing game turns all episodes into a lovely clock.
