#FairNeet Trends on Twitter As Students Demand To Conduct NEET Exam Again

With multiple cases of cheating on the highly competitive NEET Exam under investigation, students are asking for a retest.

New Delhi: With multiple cases of cheating on the highly competitive medical entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021, under investigation, students are asking for a retest. Protesting on social media using the #FAIRNEET tag, they demanded that the review be repeated due to the paper leak case. Sources from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told NDTV that proxies were used in NEET 2021 and that payments of Rs 50 lakh per candidate were made.

NEET took place on September 12 after the Supreme Court dismissed the plea presented by the wannabes to postpone the review. More than 16 lakh students took the NEET 202. Students express their dissatisfaction with the exam on social media and tag the Minister of Education and CEO of NEET who seek to renew the exam.

All India Students’ Federation (AISF) and National Students Union of India (NSUI)also tweeted about the discrepancies over the entrance medical exam.

Police and the CBI made several arrests on the matter on September 12. Jaipur police arrested eight people including a daughter who was a NEET candidate and seven others were detained for helping her cheat on the exam.

According to PTI, DCP Richa Tomar said, “The police arrested 18-year-old candidate Dineshwari Kumari along with invigilator Ram Singh, in charge of exam centre’s administration unit Mukesh, Dineshwari’s uncle and four others were also nabbed in connection with the case.”
