Domestic passengers will have to show negative report

Domestic passengers: BMC has issued a new guideline for domestic passengers going to Mumbai by plane.

According to BMC, now it will be mandatory for Domestic passengers to show RT PCR negative report of corona virus within 72 hours at Mumbai airport.

However, the RT PCR test of the Domestic passengers who will not arrive with the report of the corona test will be done at the airport itself.

Let us tell you that earlier it was mandatory to show certificates of both doses of corona virus vaccine at the airport, but in view of the danger of new variant of corona, Omicron, BMC has made the Kovid test report mandatory.

In such a situation, when passengers reach Mumbai from any city in Maharashtra, they can show the certificates of both the doses of their vaccination at the airport.

But if a passenger enters Maharashtra from any other state, then it has been made mandatory to show the RTPCR negative report at the airport.

This decision has been taken for international travelers?

On arrival of international passengers in Maharashtra, it has been made mandatory for them to stay in Institution Quarantine for 7 days. Apart from this, they will also have to be in home quarantine for 14 days.

These passengers will have RT-PCR test during the quarantine and their health will be monitored.

Fear in the world with new variants

The new variant of the corona virus first appeared in South Africa and so far its cases have been reported in 22 countries. At the same time, South African Health Minister Joe Fahla says that this new variant of corona ie Omicron variant may be more infectious.

According to the research done so far, the new strain is quite different from other variants of Delta and Corona. Many changes have been seen in this. They believe that the OR variant spreads much faster than other variants.
