New Delhi: Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik was lucky enough to have two baby boys on Thursday. The cricketer took to social media and said he and his wife Dipika Pallikal, who is also a famous squash player, were lucky enough to have twins.
“And just like that, 3 became 5,” Karthik wrote on Twitter and shared photos of the newborns.
“Dipika and I were fortunate to have two beautiful little boys. And we couldn’t be happier,” he added. Pallikal also posted pictures of herself, Karthik and their baby boys on social media.
In the post, Karthik also revealed the names of their baby boys – Kabir Pallikal Karthik and Zian Pallikal Karthik.
Meanwhile, Dipika also made the announcement on her Twitter account with images of her with Karthik and the newborns.
“@DineshKarthik and I are very honored to have been fortunate enough to have two beautiful little boys, Kabir Pallikal Karthik and Zian Pallikal Karthik, and we couldn’t be happier Whiteheart,” she tweeted.
Karthik was in the United Arab Emirates recently to comment on the 2021 T20 World Cup. However, his recent post suggests he is back in India for the delivery of his wife.
Dinesh and Dipika were married in 2013.
Speaking of his career in international cricket, Karthik has played 26 tests, 94 ODI, and 32 T20I for India. He also represented the Kolkata Knight Riders at IPL 2021.
