Deployed iOS 15.1.1 update to resolve dropped call issues in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 lineup. Details

New Delhi: In a fix for dropped call issues, Apple started rolling out the iOS 15.1.1 update for the new iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max models. According to the release note, the update fixes the performance issues of call deletion on the mentioned iPhone models.

Several iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 users recently experienced consistent call drops on their devices, preventing them from receiving incoming calls. This OTA update, which is estimated to be just over 1.4GB in size, provides a solution to the problem.

Those who want to update to the latest version of iOS 15.1.1 can do so from the Settings app on their devices. However, this one is a pretty minor update. The iOS 15.2 update will likely bring some important features to the iPhone lineup.

The release of iOS 15.1.1 comes nearly a month after the Cupertino, California-based tech giant released iOS 15.1, which enabled its long-awaited SharePlay feature. The SharePlay feature allows users to watch movies and shows or listen to music with friends during a FaceTime call. It also allows you to send whatever you watch on iPhone to Apple TV.

Meanwhile, in other news, Apple is expected to sell more than 80 million iPhones in the October-December holiday quarter, according to a report released earlier this week.
