Delhi’s Metro Hospital Runs Out of Oxygen – Among the many hospitals in the national capital that report a lack of oxygen supply to treat the growing number of COVID-19 patients, one Delhi hospital has reported a very short supply of oxygen. They added that an oxygen supplier at Metro Hospital had switched off his phone and that there was a shortage of oxygen at the hospital.
According to a recent review, the situation at Metro Hospital is dire as it has run out of oxygen cylinders. The hospital is trying to transfer its ICU patients to other hospitals but patients are reportedly not admitted there.
According to reports, Metro Hospital patients were being referred to RML Hospital but were not admitted there.
The report comes after the Delhi government said other provinces such as Uttar Pradesh and Haryana were blocking oxygen transport to Delhi. Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia urged the Center to ensure normal access, even if it means taking military assistance.
