Delhi Fire- Police say the explosion took place in the house of a man named Ganesh as his wife Savitri was changing the bottle and it exploded due to a gas leak.
A huge fire broke out on Saturday night in the Mangolpuri area of Delhi due to a gas leak from the cylinder. 13 people were burned in this fire, including 4 seriously injured. The injured are treated in hospital.
Police were notified of the fire at 6:44 p.m. on Saturday evening. Immediately, two firefighters and the police arrived at the scene of the accident. The fire was quickly brought under control.
This accident created an atmosphere of fear and panic throughout the region. The flames were so strong that many neighboring houses and the people who lived there fell under its grip. Police said Savitri, Sachin, Geeta, Prince, Lakshmi, Vinod, Vivek, Chhatarpal, Sanju, Sandhya, Nirmala, Mahima and Monishka were injured in the incident and were admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
