Crude oil slips below $ 100 per barrel !

Crude Oil Price Update: The price of Crude Oil has fallen below $100 per barrel. Brent crude oil is trading near $98 a barrel on Tuesday. Of course, this is relief news for India, which depends on imports for 85% of its fuel consumption. Crude oil prices continued to decline, due to the rising price of gasoline and diesel every morning, common people can get relief.

Currently, state-owned oil companies sell gasoline and diesel in the country based on the benchmark rate of $95 per barrel on the international market.

The price of crude oil is now close to $98 a barrel and if prices go down a bit more, then government oil companies won’t need to raise the price of gasoline and diesel.

In other words, if the price of crude oil continues to fall, if it remains stable near $95 a barrel, then ordinary people can get relief. In such a situation, government oil companies will not need to continually raise the price of gasoline and diesel.

Indeed, after March 22, 2022, government oil companies increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 10 per litre. But for six days, the prices of gasoline and diesel have not moved. Currently, state-owned oil companies sell gasoline and diesel on the international market based on the benchmark rate of $95 per barrel.

Gasoline and diesel prices have been stable for 6 consecutive days and, thanks to this, the general public is relieved. The last time, on April 6, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by 80 paise.

Due to the increase in gasoline and diesel prices from March 22, gasoline and diesel prices have increased by more than 10% in 14 days. In the capital Delhi, petrol is available at Rs 105.41 per liter and diesel at Rs 96.67 per litre, while Mumbai – petrol is available at Rs 120.51 per liter and diesel at Rs 104 .77 per litre.
