COVID 19 Cases in Delhi: The process of increasing new corona cases in Delhi and Mumbai continues. However, today there were fewer cases in both cities compared to yesterday. According to data released by the Delhi health department around 6:30 p.m., in the past 24 hours, 24,383 new cases of corona virus were reported and 34 people died. 26,236 people have recovered from the infection. Currently, there are 92,273 active patients in the city. The department said the city’s infection rate was 30.64%.
On Thursday, 28,867 cases were confirmed in Delhi, the highest one-day increase since the outbreak began. At the same time, 31 patients had died while the infection rate was 29.21%.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says on COVID 19 cases are rising rapidly in the nation’s capital but there is nothing to worry about as the rate of patient admissions and deaths in hospitals is very weak. He called on the people to adopt a responsible attitude.
He also said that the restrictions imposed in view of the rapid increase in corona virus cases will only be tightened if necessary, “but if the corona cases go down, we will ease the restrictions”.
On the other hand, on the death of Corona (COVID 19) in Delhi, Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that 75% of the patients who lost their lives in the current wave of Covid-19 in the nation’s capital were those who had no not been vaccinated. The minister had also said fewer than 25,000 new cases could be reported in the city today.
Jain said more than 13,000 beds reserved for infected people are vacant in hospitals. He said, “The number of patients admitted to the hospital is stable and the number of patients admitted daily has decreased. It’s a great relief.

There were fewer cases in Mumbai than on Thursday. According to BMC, 11,317 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported, down 17.60% from cases reported a day earlier, while nine more patients have died. Currently, 84,352 patients are under treatment.
