Covid- 1414 new cases of corona in Delhi in last 24 hours

Covid Cases in Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 1414 new cases of corona infection were recorded in Delhi. During this time, one patient died from this infection. At the same time, 1171 patients recovered after treatment. According to reports, the corona infection rate in Delhi, i.e. the positivity rate, is 5.97%. 23,000,694 tests were carried out in Delhi in one day. Active cases, i.e. 5986 patients, are treated here. The number of containment zones has increased to 1211.

After the arrival of new corona cases in Delhi, the total number of people infected with Covid-19 has risen to 18 lakh 87 thousand 50, while the death toll stands at 26 thousand 176. On Monday, 1076 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and the infection rate was 6.42%. On Sunday, 1,485 cases were reported and no patient died.

In view of the increase in corona cases, wearing a mask is now compulsory in Delhi. There is also a provision of fine of Rs 500 against those who fail to do so. Amid rising corona virus infection cases, the Delhi government has increased the number of beds for Kovid patients at two of its centers, 80% of which have been increased at LNJP Hospital.

Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP) is at the center of the government’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first hospital to be declared a COVID-19 treatment center after the pandemic hit here in early 2020.
