Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of Goddess Sita in ‘The Incarnation-Sita’. The makers have finally shared an update about the film.
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, known for her acting prowess, will star in “The Incarnation-Sita”. The epic period drama, which will be directed by Alaukik Desai, will focus on the life of the goddess Sita. The producers have released a statement confirming that the “Panga” actress will star in the upcoming film.
“As a woman, I couldn’t be happier to welcome Ms. Kangana Ranaut aboard our Vfx magnum opus, ‘The Incarnation Sita’. Kangana symbolizes the spirit and essence of an Indian woman – fearless, intimidating, and bold to celebrate equality in all respects, ”SS Studio’s Saloni Sharma said in a statement.

The ‘Queen’ star shared a post on Instagram to express her happiness at taking the lead in the film. “The Incarnation- Sita- Glad to be on board for the title role with this immensely talented team of artists. With the blessing of Sita Ram… Jai SiyaRam.” his message read.
The next film will be released in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
While the gossip mills suggested the directors wanted to cast Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film’s writer K Vijayendra Prasad told SpotboyE she was never approached about the project. Speculation was rife that Bebo would have asked for 12 million rupees to play the role in the film. Internet users had expressed their dissatisfaction on social media after the rumor spread like wildfire on the internet.
