“On behalf of the people of Delhi, thank you. Please make sure Delhi gets this amount of oxygen every day and that there are no cuts. Delhi will thank you for this, ”he added.

Kejriwal’s letter comes amid a dispute between the Center and the AAP government in the Supreme Court over the supply of oxygen to the national capital.

Delhi CM also asked hospitals to regain their strength in bed as he said:  “Due to the oxygen crisis, hospitals had to reduce their bed capacity. I request all hospitals to now reinstate their bed capacity. I hope we will receive 700 tons of oxygen every day”.

“If we get an adequate supply of oxygen – 700 tons – we will be able to set up 9000 – 9500 beds in Delhi. We will be able to create oxygen beds. I assure you that we will not let anyone die to a shortage of oxygen in Delhi,” he added expressing hope.

Earlier on Wednesday, the high court asked the center to comply with the instructions of the Delhi 700 MT oxygen supply.

Delhi recorded 335 deaths, 19,133 new infections and 20,028 cases in the past 24 hours. There are 90,629 active cases in the national capital without respite from the emergence of new coronavirus infections.
