Cisco nominates Daisy Chittilapilly as President of India and President of SAARC

Cisco on Tuesday announced the appointment of Daisy Chittilapilly as President of the Indian and SAARC operations.

Chittilapilly follows Sameer Garde, who recently announced his decision to join the social sector four years later in Cisco. He will take on his new role from August 1st.

With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including 17 years of leadership experience at Cisco, Chittilapilly has a proven track record of transforming performance and culture to foster growth at the highest level, the statement said.

“As President of the India and SAARC stadiums, he will address strategies and sales, operations, and investments to boost long-term growth in the region. Daisy will begin her new role from August 1, 2021, which also marks the beginning of Cisco’s new financial year,” he added. .

Chittilapilly recently held the position of Managing Director of Cisco”s Digital Transformation Office, where he worked with clients to capture and measure emerging opportunities in the digital world.

In addition, as the leader of Software and Services Sales, he worked with partners to accelerate Cisco’s transformation ” in dealing with registration-based contributions.

Prior to joining Cisco, he worked with Wipro in all sales management roles. He also serves as the Chair of the Ficci National Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation and is a member of the advisory board of “ Water anywhere ”.

Chittilapilly ‘appointment comes at a time when Cisco sees India and SAARC as the engine of innovation and growth, said Cisco Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China President Dave West.
