CBSE Class 12 Board Exam cancellation 2021: Bad news for Class 12 students

Students keep their fingers crossed for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 as this will directly affect the college admission process.

Lakhs of CBSE Class 12 students across the country are eagerly awaiting the final decision of the Class 12 Board Exams which was postponed by the Central Government in April due to an increase in coronavirus cases in India. Students keep their fingers crossed for the planning of the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 as this will directly affect the admission process in colleges, in India and abroad.

Notably, many Indian students went abroad to pursue higher education, and the decision of the Department of Union Education regarding the CISCE and Class 12 board exams is very important.

On May 14, it was announced by the that no formal decision had been made regarding the Class 12 board exams.

Experts conclude that delays in the Class 12 board exam results for 2021 results will lead to tough competition for Indian students.

In January 2021, more than 10.9 lakh Indian students were enrolled in foreign universities and it was expected that the number would increase this year as students who had postponed their admission by 2020 or were waiting to rest at the end of the epidemic would apply. This means that competition will grow and it will create problems for Indian students if the results are delayed.

It is also believed that the postponement of the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 will also give students less time to focus on the application process at an international university.

A few teachers and academics are of the opinion that the cancellation of the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 was not appropriate for students because the allocation of marks based on student performance in the middle of the year would not seem helpful to those students who studied hard before exams to get good marks. The low marks will also make it difficult for students to enter good colleges abroad.
