CancelBoardExam2022: Amid rising Covid-19 cases, students across states are demanding to cancel state board central exams (CBSE, ICSE). CBSE, CISCE have not yet announced the Term 2 exam schedule, CBSE in its previous statement said that Term 2 exams will only be conducted if the Covid-19 situation improves.

Meanwhile, states like Assam, Bihar, Rajasthan and Maharashtra have decided to continue board exams, however, class 10, 12 exams in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh will depend on the Covid pandemic situations. Uttar Pradesh (UP Board) has announced that it will hold class 10, 12 exams after the elections.

Posting with the hashtag CancelBoardExam2022 many twitter handles has request to the government to take the action in favor of the students.

A user tweeted saying,

In line with the schedule of the 10th and 12th State Examinations, the Bihar Council will hold the Matric Examination (10th) from 17th to 24th February, while the Inter Exam (12th) from 1st to 14th February 2022. The Council of Rajasthan will conduct 10th and 12th Examination Courses from March 3, 10th, and 12th Maharashtra Board Examinations will be held in March.

SEBA Class 10 HSLC exams

The Secondary Education Board, Assam (SEBA) will commence Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations or Class 10 examinations. The HSLC Class 10 examination is scheduled to start with English on March 15 and will end on March 31 with the language tests.

Bihar Matric, Inter Exams 2022

The Bihar Board Matric exam will start on 17th February and end on 24th February. BSEB Inter Exam 2022 will start on February 1 and end on February 14, 2022. be given to candidates.

RBSE Exams 2022 Class 10, 12

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct Class 10 and Class 12 Final Examinations from March 3, as per COVID-19 guidelines. Date sheets for these exams are expected to be released in the first week of February, RBSE spokesperson Rajendra Gupta told Careers360. However, the board postponed the Class 12 road tests. The Class 12 road tests were due to take place from January 17.

Maharashtra HSC, SSC board exams

The Maharashtra HSC, or Class 12 exams will be held from March 4 to April 7 and the SSC, or Class 10 exams will be held from March 15 to April 18.

GSEB exams Class 10, 12

Gujarat Board of Secondary and Tertiary Education will organize class 10 and 12 exams between 28th March and 12th April 2022.

Karnataka Board Examinations

The Karnataka SSLC Examination 2022 will start on March 28 and end on April 11, said the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). The board also said the schedule was tentative, meaning it could be changed later.

West Bengal

Several WBBSE and WBCHSE board members have been infected with Covid-19 which has affected the Madhyamik and Ucha Madhyamik exam preparations. Officials have stated that if the number of Covid-19 cases increases, it will be very difficult for the boards to conduct exams. The class 10 exams are scheduled to be held in March while the class 12 exams are in April.

Madhya Pradesh

Due to the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Madhya Pradesh, the board exams are likely to be postponed. School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has said that a review meeting will be held before the exams in February to decide on whether to conduct or postpone the exams.

Rajasthan

The Rajasthan education department has said that the board exams will not be postponed. A meeting
of a high-level exam committee was held under the chairmanship of education minister Dr. BD Kalla whether to
conduct the board exams or not. The exams are scheduled to begin on March 3. More than 20 lakh students will
take the exam at a total of 6074 centers.

UP Board

The UP Board has announced to hold exams after the elections. Election in the state will be held in
February. Students can anticipate exams to begin from March. Last year too, till the SC order, the UPMSP had said
that it is all set to hold exams. This year too, there has not been any plan of deferment due to the pandemic. The
practical exams are likely to be held in the third week of February for 1Oth and 12th students.

CBSE and CISCE

The Central Board of Secondary Examinations (CBSE) has already conducted the term I exams, the results of which are expected to be announced soon. The board is likely to conduct the term II exams in March. However, an earlier statement said that the second term will be conducted only if the Covid-19 situation gets better. The final results will be prepared thereafter but on the occasion of term II not being conducted, the final result will be based on term I, internal assessments, and practical exams.
