BSNL Rs. 398 prepaid voice and unlimited data plan renewed for 90 days

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the expansion of its Rs. 398 special tariff vouchers (STV) for unlimited paid subscription program. The program was launched in early January for promotional purposes and the offer was scheduled to end on April 9.

However, telco has announced an extension of the program for another 90 days, allowing prepaid subscribers to receive benefits if they wish. The extension of the BSNL prepaid program will start on April 10 and end on July 8.

The company wrote on twitter its Chennai host to announce the extension of the BSNL STV 398 pre-paid program. The benefits of the STV 398 program remain the same.

Provides unlimited instant data without FUP cap, unlimited voice calls at Home, LSA, and National networks including the MTNL network in Delhi and Mumbai. It also provides 100 SMS messages per day and comes with a 30-day operation.

BSNL notes that SMS and voice benefits under this voucher may not be used for SMS and outgoing calls to premium numbers, IN numbers, international numbers, and other shortcuts.

For this, the registrant will be subject to applicable tax. The company also notes that the voucher is for personal use only, not for unauthorized telephone purchases or for commercial use. Also, BSNL stated in its circular that the unused free benefits will be lost at the end of the current release of the program.

This comes after BSNL introduced three new DSL broadband programs, costing Rs. 299, amaR. 399, and Rs. 555. They all come with 10Mbps speed, which is slower compared to BharN Fiber Barat programs.

They come with FUP limits of 100GB, 200GB, and 500GB, respectively, after which users can continue to browse the web at very low speeds.
