Trending on Social Media: Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar starrer Atrangi Re-released on Disney+Hotstar recently.

Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush star “Atrangi Re” face criticism for allegedly hurting Hindu religious feelings. The film, released on December 24, was criticized by Hindus for allegedly promoting love jihad.

The film shows Rinku (Sara), a rebel, forcibly married off to Vishu (Dhanush) by her maternal uncles and grandmother, as she falls in love with her longtime (imaginary) boyfriend, Sajjad, played by Kumar.
