Have you ever wondered what phone Bill Gates is using? Well, the man has already revealed his phone name. And no, it’s not an iPhone. Gates uses a folding phone but not the Microsoft Surface Duo again.
I know it is natural to expect Microsoft developer to use a phone from the same company, but I think Gates does not believe in the same idea. Microsoft’s founder owns the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
According to 9to5Google, during a Reddit session I Asked Anything this week, Gates replied that he was using a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. “I have Android Galaxy Z Fold 3. I’m trying something different.
With this screen I can pass through a portable PC and phone and nothing else, ”Bill Gates said in a statement. One of the reasons why he may use a Samsung phone is because of its integration with Windows due to Samsung’s strong partnership with Microsoft.
Gates has previously revealed that he is using an Android phone over an Apple iPhone, but this is the first time he has revealed the name of the device.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a 6.2-inch HD + AMOLED 2X display that comes with a resolution of 120Hz. When unveiled, the display measures 7.6 inches and has a variable frequency of 120Hz.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core processor and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB as well as 512GB internal storage options.
The smartphone runs the Android 11 OS, which is upgraded to Android 12. To upgrade to the folding part, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with advanced Flex mode features, Multi Active Window, new taskbar and App Pair.
The phone features a three-lens 12-megapixel camera set with ultra-wide, wide-angle and telephoto camera. At the front are two photographers under the screen, one on the cover display and the other on the inside screen.
This includes a 10-megapixel lens on the cover and a 4-megapixel lens inside.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports 4400 mAh battery and weighs 271 grams, slightly lower than the Galaxy Fold 2.
