Bihar Board(BSEB): Pass Percentage lowest in three years, 101 students in top 10 list

The Bihar Board on Monday announced the BSEB Class 10 exams and became the first board to do so. However, this year, the result is at a three-year low. This could be seen as a result of school closures due to the Covid-19 epidemic. 78.17 percent of students passed the exams. The pass rate will be 80.73 percent in 2019, 80.59 percent in 2020 and 78.17 percent in 2021. To date, no state board, other than Bihar, has conducted tests due to the coronavirus problem.

This year, the senior position was jointly compiled by three students – Pooja Kumari, Shubdarshni, and Sandeep Kumar. All three received 96.80 percent or 484 percent of the 500. Top marks obtained not only by top students this year but also higher than last year by Himanshu Raj who scored 96.20 percent.

A total of 101 students entered the top 10, with many students receiving the same marks.

Of the 16.84 lakh students enrolled, a total of 16.54 students have already appeared for the tests. An estimated 4,13,087 students won the first position, followed by 5,00,615 lakh in the second phase and 3,78,980 students in the third phase. A total of 12,93,064 students passed the exams.

Board exam students often get their sheets from their schools, but, due to school closures, online result printing will serve as temporary marks. Students need to look at details including their roll number, personal details, title tags, and complete marks. It can also mean the level of eligible students.

According to the BSEB, more than 16.8 lakh students had registered for the Bihar Class 10 board exam this year. About 8,46,663 boys registered for the exams while 8,37,803 girls also registered.
