Between August 13 and 15, PM Modi requests that everyone support the Har Ghar Tiranga movement and hoist and display the tricolour at home.

On Friday, July 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited citizens to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative by flying or displaying the national flag in their residences between August 13 and 15. He claimed that this action will enhance our ties to the flag. Notably, through the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the government has planned the “Har Ghar Tiranga” (tricolour in every home) exercise leading up to the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

The Prime Minister remarked in a series of tweets that the adoption of the national flag took place on July 22nd, 1947, and said that this effort will strengthen our connection to the tricolour. PM Modi remarked, “Today, we honour the extraordinary bravery and work of everyone who fought for a flag representing a free India at a time when we were against colonial authority. We reaffirm our dedication to achieving their goals and creating the India of their dreams.”

Prime Minister Khan added, “Let’s make the Har Ghar Tiranga movement stronger this year as we celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. During the 13th through 15th of August, hoist the tricolour or display it inside your homes. We will feel more connected to the national flag thanks to this movement.”

Additionally, he published information about the official communications that led to the tricolour being chosen as the nation’s flag. Additionally, he shared a photo of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister, raising the nation’s first tricolour.

“The history of today’s 22nd of July is particularly important. Our country adopted its national flag on this day in 1947. Sharing some fascinating historical tidbits, such as information about the Tricolor committee and the first Tricolor that Pandit Nehru unfurled, “stated PM Modi in a tweet.

“Our Tiranga: one country, one identity. Let’s bring our national flag home and proudly fly it from August 13 to 15 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of our independence and to demonstrate our unity. HarGharTiranga, “the Culture Ministry tweeted. `

To commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence, the Ministry of Culture has adopted Har Ghar Tiranga’s proposal.

Throughout the campaign’s dates of August 13–15, residents will be urged to fly the tricolour at their residences. The public will be motivated to fly the flag at home as a result. The campaign was created with the intention of stirring up patriotism among the populace.

As the Nodal Agency for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the Ministry of Culture will ask state governments for assistance in mobilising all available resources, housing and urban development departments, and local bodies, such as municipal organisations and Panchayati Raj institutions, for the campaign’s advancement. In order to successfully promote the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign and help others hoist flags in their homes, the ministry is depending on all members of the public to take an active role in doing so.
