BCCI Wants IPL 2022 To Be Held In India Without Crowd: Report

New Delhi: IPL 2022 Mega Auction would take place in the month of February and developments related to the cash-rich tournament are happening one after another.

The most difficult challenge for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is to conduct the tournament in a safe environment.

Bearing in mind the welfare of cricketers, support staff and other stakeholders amid the fear of Covid-19.

According to news agency ANI, BCCI has decided to hold the showpiece event in India, but without spectators, i.e. empty stadiums. The report also suggests that the likely venues for the mega tournament are Wankhede Stadium, Cricket Club of India (CCI), DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, and Pune if necessary.
