Ayushmann Khurrana ‘Dream Girl’ actress Rinku Singh Nikumbh dies in Covid-19

Ayushmann Khurrana star ‘Dream Girl’ Rinku Singh Nikumbh has passed away due to Covid-19 problems. The actor last appeared in ‘Hello Charlie’ alongside Aadar Jain and Jackie Shroff.


According to reports, Rinku has been battling a viral infection in the past few days in the ICU. His cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh reportedly confirmed the news. He said the actor was found healthy on May 25 and separated from his home.

After his health deteriorated, he was taken to a hospital and taken to the ICU. Rinku’s cousin also said he took the first injection of the Covid vaccine on May 7 and was due to take the second dose soon.

Chanda also revealed that Rinku was considering going to Goa with the intention of shooting. But his family did not let him go as they wanted to protect him from COVID.


Apart from films, Rinku was also part of many popular series such as ‘Chidiyaghar’ and ‘Meri Haanikarak Biwi’. When news of her death surfaced online, fans conveyed words of condolence and thoughts to her Instagram post. She had posted a photo of herself with the caption, “dark beauty” followed by a heart emoji.

One of the fans wrote, “RIP Ron … He still doesn’t believe this” and another fan wrote, “May his soul rest in everlasting peace… Bless his soul and give him his eternal peace. May God bless him close to the beloved followers of family friends Always Always❤️❤️ ”

‘Dream Girl’ also played the role of Nushrratt Bharuccha, Annu Kapoor and Manjot Singh in the main roles.
