GJ 1214b – Water World

Astronomers began discovering GJ 1214b in December 2009. The alien planet is said to have a spherical planet “approximately 2.7 times the diameter of the earth and about seven times the mass of our home planet.”

A large part of its size is made up of water, and the planet itself is covered with hot, hot air, which is probably caused by extreme temperatures – 446 ° F (or 230 ° C) on the surface.

WASP-107b – Planet Puffball

The acquisition of WASP-107b was announced in 2017. The planet is described as an exoplanet similar to Neptune which is about the size of Jupiter (11 times larger than Earth) but carries only about one tenth of Jupiter or about 30 times that of the Earth. Its low weight means that it packs an extremely low density, which can be compared to that of marshmallow.

TOI-1431b (aka MASCARA-5b) – Hot Planet in Hell

NASA’s Transit Exoplanet Survey Satellite has begun receiving the TOI-1431b in late 2019. It is described as “ultra-hot Jupiter,” although it is almost twice as large as its names, which is the largest planet of the solar system. Daytime temperatures are estimated at 3000K (approximately 2700 ° C), and nighttime temperatures are close to 2600K (approximately 2300 ° C).

HD 189733b – Earth in the Universe

HD 189733b was discovered around the HD 189733 star in 2005. The distant planet weighs 1.13 Jupiters, in the form of a light blue marble, which NASA emanates from the dark, hot air of the planet with glass-covered rain clouds – on the sides – when combined with strong winds that strike at 5,400 mph (2 km / s). The planet’s torrential rains are also extremely hot because of its close proximity to the sun.

Kepler-16b – Planet Tattoine with two days

Kepler-16b is an additional planet discovered in the 2011 Kepler-16 program. The planet is in a “rotating” orbit, orbiting two stars in a different way, which means that the planet will have two sunsets if you can’t stand above it, like Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tattoo in the Star Wars section, although the planet is “cold, gas and not thought to be healthy.”
