Salmara South goes to Congress
In another victory for the Congress party, Salmara South candidate Wazed Ali Choudhury. Other opponents were Asadul Islam of BJP and Jenat Mollah of NCP.

Congress wins Samaguri seat
Rakibul Hussain of Congress won the Samaguri seat. He found Anil Saikia of BJP and Abidur Rahman of Assam Jatiya Parishad.

The Sootea candidate for BJP’s Sootea election wins
BJP’s Padma Hazarika won the Sootea seat by 24,155 votes. She defeated Pranaswarwar Basumatary of the Congress party.
