Aspirants Demand Again Postpone NEET UG 2022 as Dates Clashing With CUET

Postpone NEET UG 2022: Numerous MBBS candidates are calling for the medical entrance exam scheduled for July 17 to be postponed because it is “too close” to other competitive exams, like JEE Mains and CUET, and will leave them with little time to prepare. This dispute surrounds the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate)-2022. The hashtag #PostponeNEETUG has been trending on Twitter once more, and candidates have also established an online petition that has received the support of nearly 24,000 students.

The medical aspirants said in their appeal that NEET-UG 2021 counselling finished barely in March and that the 2022 edition is slated for July 17. How will we be able to review such a large syllabus in only three months? Additionally, other significant tests like the Board Exams, CUCET, and JEE Mains are also planned for the same period of time. Imagine the stress and anguish that our students are experiencing as a result of having so many important tests scheduled one right after another. Is this judgement just? The petition asked for.

Due to the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic, the NEET-UG 2021, which was initially planned for August 1, was postponed to September 12. “The days leading up to exams were so stressful. My hope is fading away. Nobody wants to listen to us, nobody wants to assist us, and nobody wants to comprehend us. Aspirants, we are in serious trouble. Sanjana Gupta, an applicant, requested that the NEET-UG be postponed.

In reality, the NEET UG 2022 exam will take place on July 17, 2022. The worry of the students has also grown since the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) examination dates were announced. For entry into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes, CUET is required. Beginning on July 15 and lasting until August 10, the entrance tests will take place. In the meantime, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2022 as well as the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), will be administered.

NEET must be held after JEE MAINS: Advocate Anubha Srivastava

NEET and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) are taking place concurrently, which is inconveniencing students, claims Anubha Srivastava, an attorney and president of the India Wide Parents’ Association. “So that students may adequately prepare, NEET must be held after JEE Mains. Because counselling would take some time, the session for aspiring NEET students would not begin until February 2023, she said.

CUET-UG from 15 July-10 August

The first edition of the CUET-UG will be administered from July 15 to August 10, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Wednesday. “Dear @DG NTA and @EduMinOfIndia, please pay attention to the students’ little request; it is not unreasonable. There are other factors, in addition to the NTA’s announcement of the CUET date, which directly conflicts with the NEET exam,” a Twitter user noted.

JEE Season-1 & Season-2 Exam Date

Beginning on June 23, JEE Main season exams will last through June 29. Two papers, however, will now be administered later because of the Assam floods. The second season’s applications will be accepted through June 30 at the same time as the second season’s exams, which can be held from July 21 to July 30.

TS EAMCET Exam Date

The Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, will be held from July 14 to July 20, 2022. Students are requesting an additional 40 days for the NEET exam because of the aforementioned exam dates and their preparation.
