Twelve days after his arrest in a drug case, Aryan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, was allowed to make a video call from the prison phone to his parents. The video calling facility was introduced by prison authorities during the pandemic last year so that inmates could communicate with their families and lawyers.

Meanwhile, Aryan was transferred from the quarantine cell at Arthur Road Prison to a regular barracks, after testing negative for COVID-19 and the star child was assigned the number of qaidi (prisoner ) N956.

According to reports, Aryan appears disturbed, tense and uncomfortable in prison and has been held in a barracks separate from the other inmates for security reasons.

Aryan was denied food at home and eats the prison meal like other inmates. According to the prison manual, Aryan received a warrant of Rs 4,500 each of his parents. He can use the money to buy snacks, juice and other food items in the prison canteen. “

Earlier on Thursday, in a huge setback for Aryan Khan, a special NDPS court in Mumbai reserved its order on his and other co-defendants’ bail requests until October 20, even as the BCN claimed it. practically referred to as a “junkie” who uses drugs on a regular basis.

Aryan and other co-defendants Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha will remain in judicial custody at Arthur Road Central Prison and Byculla Women’s Prison for the next five days due to public holidays in the coming days.
