Rajpal Yadav Ardh Movie Review: Weak direction over a good story

Rajpal Yadav Ardh Movie Review: Palash Muchhal wrote and directed the Hindi-language drama film Ardh, which was produced by Pal Music and Films. Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik play key roles in the film. On the 10th of June 2022, it was published for worldwide OTT on ZEE5.

What Is The Story Of Rajpal Yadav Ardh Movie

Ardh’s story revolves around Shiva (Rajpal Yadav), trying his luck in Mumbai to become an actor. There is a financial crunch in the family, so while Shiva gives auditions on the one hand, on the other hand runs the house by doing different jobs. Along with this, Shiva also acts as a eunuch by the name of Parvati, about which apart from his wife Madhu, one of his friends, Satya (Hiten Tejwani) knows. Shiva’s wife Madhu (Rubina Dilaik) also works to help her husband financially. Shiva and Parvati have a son, whom both want to educate and make them capable. Shiva is trying hard to find a character that will prove his mettle as an actor, now you have to watch this film to know whether he is able to do so or not. 

Is There Anything Special In Ardh

As it is said that every coin has two sides, you will get to see the same thing in this movie. From the beginning of Shiva’s becoming a eunuch, he remained a eunuch and the fear of his existence keeps him a little tied. The dialogues of the series are written in very colloquial language, so that the common man will be able to connect. It has also been shown well in the film that how important is the look of any person, because without knowing it, the person in front measures it and takes the decision accordingly

How Is Acting And Direction

Ardh is directed by Palash Muchhal, which is not impressive at all.Leaving the technicalities in the entire film, even then the film does not seem successful in keeping it tied.Not only is the direction weak, but the screenplay, color palette and songs of the film also prove to be weak.Despite being a great actor, Rajpal Yadav is seen overacting in many parts of the film, which is not expected from him at all.On the other hand, there is not much to be seen in the account of Hiten Tejwani and Rubina. 

Watch or Not: It has everything in a half of about two hours to make a perfect family entertainer but the presentation of the film is very light, due to which even a 2 hour film becomes too long.
