PV Sindhu, who reached the finals of the Swiss Open earlier this month, has not given up on the game yet in the prestigious Super 1000 tournament as she was free to overtake Sonia Cheah in the first round.

This is the second match of the next quarter final of India’s shuttler in the All England Championship. Sindhu will face his first major test in the tournament against World No. 5 and 3 seed Akane Yamaguchi in the quarter-finals. Sindhu has a good header (10-7) against Yamaguchi but the Japanese star has won their last three matches.

Prannoy, Earth No. 31, came up with the jaws and gave Momota a taste of her medicine with lovely deceptive lashes but it wasn’t enough to stop the Japanese star.
