AKTU: Teacher sacked for copying in online exam

The supervisor took money to solve the questions in the ongoing online examination of AKTU

The action of AKTU examination controller and institute of Jhansi.

Vineet Verma, a teacher who cheated in the online examinations of AKTU, has been sacked after investigation. The case of cheating in semester examinations had come to notice from Jhansi. After the matter came to the notice, the officials of the concerned institute SR Group of Institute, Jhansi were summoned to AKTU. Controller of Examinations of the University Prof. Anurag Tripathi had instructed the institute to take strict action. This action was taken on Thursday.

Supervisor teacher Vineet Verma has been dismissed from service with immediate effect for improper conduct during the examination. Along with this, all the invigilators have been instructed to cooperate in the examination with full conscientiousness.

Money in the account for copying

Dismissed supervisor Vineet Verma sent an online message to the student taking the exam for copying. In order to solve the answer to the question, the supervisor asked for money from the student appearing for the examination in his account. The matter of asking for money came to the fore during the investigation. However, AKTU has not clarified how much money was transferred to the account of the dismissed supervisor. The student who paid money in the investigation against the supervisor gave full support.
