The ACT Fibernet or Atria Convergence Technology Fibernet began offering its customers additional speed benefits in November this year.
ACT customers have received updates about speed improvements in their emails. The ACT now appears to have increased the offer of Speed Boost until the end of December.
ACT customers who subscribe to programs below 100 Mbps will be upgraded to 100 Mbps at no additional cost.
Customers with a system speed of more than 100 Mbps but less than 300 Mbps will be eligible for free upgrades to 300 Mbps, while those with a system speed of more than 300 Mbps but less than 500 Mbps will be upgraded to 500 Mbps.
However, customers subscribed to 500 Mbps or higher plans will not be upgraded to a premium 1 Gbps speed.
ACT Fibernet sends emails to customers who may be upgrading to these programs. Offerings also serve as an advertisement for the ACT app. Improvements were first reported by OnlyTech.
Customers can gain access to speed enhancements through the ACT Fibernet app or through the offer email. An app with email shows an ad with an extra speed feature installed on the app’s home screen for extra speed. However, customers must click on the ad to access the offer.
“Celebrate this month with a free upgrade,” read the ACT offer. “Feel the speed this month. Get an advanced speed of 500 Mbps. It’s free on December ‘21. ” Extra speed can be obtained by qualified customers at no additional cost until December.
ACT Fibernet offers broadband programs in eight cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Delhi. ACT offers a wide range of broadband programs including ACT Blaze which offers 150 Mbps speed and has a value of Rs 1085.
This program has a download speed of 1000GB FUP. The next plan is ACT Storm which offers 300 Mbps and has a value of Rs 1185 and offers unlimited speed.
ACT Lighting and ACT Incredible broadband systems provide speeds of 350 Mbps and 400 Mbps and are priced at Rs 1425 and Rs 1999 and provide unlimited data.
ACT Giga provides speeds of 1000 Mbps and has a value of Rs 5999. This program has a FUP limit of 5500GB.
